Home/Feeder Updates, GRSG, Other/Annual Glenariff Forest Park Walk

The Glens Red Squirrel Group is holding their annual Glenariff Forest Park walk to start off 2017.

The walk will be on Sunday the 15th of January. The walk will be starting at 12 o’clock, meeting at the teahouse area in Glenariff Forest Park. Suitable footwear and clothing are recommended.

Why not come along and find out about what the GRSG are doing and have done for the conservation of Red Squirrels in the Glens and through N. Ireland.

This is the best time of year to get a glimpse of our shy and endearing native Red Squirrel. This guided walk will also enable you to spot the telltale evidence that squirrels leave.

The paths are not suited for prams. To increase the chances of seeing Red Squirrels and other wildlife, please do not take your dog on this walk.
